About Me
I believe in the power of communications to advance social justice, racial and gender equity, and civic engagement. My decade of experience in nonprofit and research environments spans policy communications, media relations, podcast production, and digital publishing, with six years spent supporting state, federal, and foreign policy research at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy in Houston, Texas.
I’m currently a graduate student in anthropology at the University of Houston. In 2017, I received a BA in linguistics with high honors and liberal arts honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
